CONCRETE RELEASE AGENTS Soybean oil, soybean oil refining by-products, and emulsions of soybean oil methyl esters are being used as release agents for concrete and compete against petroleum--based release agents. These soybean oil products are being promoted for their environmental advantages and low toxicity and skin irritation to workers.
