DUST CONTROL AGENT

The soybean oil dust suppression method prevents dust from becoming airborne in the first place: keeping it on and moving it along with the grain. A small quantity of oil - usually 200 parts per million (0.02%) by weight - is sprayed on the grain close to the initial point of entry of the grain into the system. This technique has been found to suppress 99 percent of the dust which usually becomes airborne as the grain is handled. The low cost and simplicity of installing the system makes it even more attractive to use.
