There are strong indications that lecithin is particularly suitable for preventing those diseases of the vascular system, caused by fatty deposits, by preventing degenerative artery conditions, by helping to improve the elasticity of the blood vessels and by preventing cholesterol from depositing on the artery walls. Further evidence is building up that lecithin can be successfully employed in the therapy of liver diseases. It has also been proposed to prevent the formation of gallstones and for fortifying the nerves and brain functions. |
